In this unit, we had the opportunity to apply our acquired knowledge and skills to develop an information system for a real-world client. Working in small groups, we designed, developed, and delivered an information system for a client/product owner. We managed the project through all its development stages, communicated effectively with all stakeholders, developed professional-grade project documentation, presented our work to academics and other groups, attended unit seminars, and contributed professionally and committedly to our group's efforts.

Brief

Result

Our client, Majestic Property Inspections, conducted pre-purchase property inspections. The project requirements included developing a quoting system with pricing and availability features, as well as an admin and staff management system for handling properties and inspections. This system also needed to include reports and forms to streamline the preparation of reports for customers. We were tasked with delivering the system to the client in two iterations, each lasting four weeks.

High Distinction Grade

Client very pleased with the delivered system, met their requirements and expectations.
