For an interactive media studio assignment, I developed an 3D website on International Mountain Day. My passion for mountains drove the design of this website. I love the great outdoors, including activities such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and touring. Choosing a topic I'm deeply passionate about motivated me to excel in this assignment. To create the site, I followed this process:

• Understanding of topic and target audience
• Research of topic and design style
• Conceptual development of design
• Planning of interactivity
• Testing of 3D construction techniques

Brief

Result

Using web technologies, design and construct a 3-dimensional interactive audio-visual diorama. The diorama must be presented as a web page containing a stylised 3D scene based on a specific holiday or a nationally/internationally recognised day.

I received a High Distinction for this assignment.

Great level of interactivity however feedback was to push the creative style further.
